CMPD releases names of two men killed in triple shooting in west Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police have released the names of two men killed in a west Charlotte triple shooting. We first brought this to you as breaking news on the News at Nine on Wednesday.

Investigators say 26-year-old De’andre Patton and 25-year-old De’juan Harris were shot around 6:00 pm Wednesday on Nobles Avenue near Leake Street. They both died at the hospital.

A third victim has life-threatening injuries. We’re also told a juvenile at the scene was struck by a vehicle but
is expected to be okay.

There’s no word on any suspects.
