NC DMV no longer sending out license plate stickers or registration cards

Morgan Fogarty,

RALEIGH, N.C. – As of October 1st, the North Carolina DMV is no longer sending out license plate stickers and printed registration cards.

If you get pulled over, police can now check your registration electronically, making physical cards and stickers unnecessary.

You can still expect to get a notice in the mail 90 days before your registration expires.
