1-On-1 With Panthers Quarterback Bryce Young
Kelli Bartik sits down with Panthers QB Bryce Young to discuss his upcoming charity event, the 2nd annual Young 9 Foundation Sneaker Ball.
Bryce Young is off to his best start of his career, with 1,549 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and just two interceptions through the first five games of the season.
That’s the most touchdown passes through the first five games in Panthers franchise history, but the quarterback remains humble.
“It’s a blessing, a privilege just to be able to do what I get to do. I don’t take that for granted.”
While Young is working hard on the field, he’s also getting ready for a fun night off of it, that’s all about giving back to the Charlotte community. His Young 9 Foundation’s 2nd annual Sneaker Ball is set for December 15th at The Revelry in Charlotte.
The black-tie event will feature a four-course seated dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment and dancing. Young and his Carolina Panthers teammates will serve as celebrity servers, trading their helmets for aprons to support mental health initiatives. The Sneaker Ball will benefit HopeWay, NAMI-Charlotte and Crittenton while supporting Young 9 Foundation’s mission to help youth and their support systems access resources that enhance mental wellness and resilience.
