Hawkers co-founder brings new menu flavors to Rising

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hawkers Asian Street Food co-founder and head chef Allen Lo joined Rising to showcase the restaurant’s new menu items and share the inspiration behind its dishes.

The visit comes during Global Diversity Awareness Month, offering an opportunity to explore the cultures that inspired the restaurant’s creation. Lo explained the traditions and flavors that influenced the menu and demonstrated how the dishes come together.

Hawkers Asian Street Food is located at 1930 Camden Road in Charlotte’s South End.
