Man accused of shooting gun on elementary school property
CATAWBA CO., N.C. – A man is accused of discharging a firearm at a Catawba County elementary school while class was not in session last weekend.
Investigators say surveillance video shows 52-year-old David Davidson firing the weapon at Sherills Ford Elementary on Sunday. We’re told no students or staff were on campus when it happened.
Investigators used Flock cameras to track down Davidson and arrest him on Thursday. He’s being held in jail on $8,000 bond.
