Disturbing details revealed about CMS employee accused of inappropriate contact with student
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We’re learning more about the accusations against a CMS employee accused of having inappropriate physical contact with a student. Police arrested 36-year-old Quinto Owens on Tuesday.
CMS says he works as a data manager at Garinger High School. Newly released warrants accuse Owens of saying he was cold, then placing his hands under a 17-year-old male student’s shirt, while commenting on the student’s physical fitness. It allegedly happened Friday night in a parking lot at South Mecklenburg High School.
Owens is then accused of following the student onto a school bus, where warrants say he again placed his hands under the student’s shirt, rubbed his chest, and pinched his nipples.
CMS says Owens has been suspended with pay.
