President Trump’s Friday Visit To Charlotte Could Delay Bus Routes, Says CMS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools wants to inform families that some afternoon school bus drop-offs may be delayed Friday, Aug. 31.

Traffic interruptions may occur in the southern portion of the county during a presidential visit to Charlotte.

The goal at CMS Transportation is to provide safe delivery of students in a timely manner, however, traffic interruptions are unavoidable.

The district asks for patience during the rerouting of some school buses. Additionally, this traffic issue may interrupt the accuracy of the Here Comes the Bus app.
