$7,000 Reward Now Offered For Information On West Charlotte Homicide Suspect

Police say a $7,000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Juordan Malik Hill’s killer.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit Detective. Detective Peden is the lead detective assigned to the case.  The public can also call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

CMPD is seeking assistance identifying a vehicle seen fleeing the scene of a September 3rd homicide in west Charlotte.

Police say the vehicle is a white early 1990’s model Chevrolet Caprice.

The vehicle was seen leaving the Pruitt Street area, where 20-year-old Jurodan Malik Hill was shot and killed earlier this month.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was found dead inside of an apartment in west Charlotte on Monday.

Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were called around 8:15 p.m. to the 2400 block of Pruitt Street near Wilkinson Boulevard where they located 20-year-old Juordan Hill with a gunshot wound inside of an apartment.

Medic pronounced Hill dead at the scene. Hill’s family has been notified of his death.

Police say Hill, along with several witnesses, were standing outside of the apartment in a parking lot when a suspect began shooting. Hill was struck by a bullet and ran inside the apartment.

CMPD is searching for the suspect.
