CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested an east Charlotte robbery suspect Tuesday afternoon. Β Investigators say Richard Wager robbed two Dollar General stores and a Circle K in east Charlotte. Β
This is an update to the story we posted Tuesday. Β Police released surveillance photos hoping someone would recognize the suspect. Β
Police say an officer was on routine patrol when they observed a vehicle that was wanted in connection with several armed robberies. Β Wager was driving the vehicle. Β
He was been charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, common law robbery and attempted armed robbery with a dangerous weapon. Β
