CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hurricane Florence has been upgraded to a major hurricane. The National Hurricane Center has just upgraded Florence to a category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 130mph. Central pressure dropped to 946mb.
This upgrade came after the Hurricane Hunters first pass through the storm. The storm is strengthening very quickly.
