5 Charged In Lancaster County Drug Raid

LANCASTER, SC — Lancaster County deputies have charged five suspects following a drug raid Friday morning.

LCSO Drug Task Force agents and SWAT executed a search warrant at a mobile home on Barnett Street just before dawn. Officials say the five suspects were inside the home at the time.

Brandy Arant, 28, Todd Helms, 40, Justin Powell, 29, Lacey Ray, 30, and James Rollings, 57, were all taken into custody.

Officials say more than 30 grams of Methamphetamine, Suboxone tablets, Caruedilol and Furosemide prescriptions, and marijuana was seized inside the home. Additional drug paraphernalia items like smoking piped, straws, scales and small plastic bags used to package illegal drugs were also reportedly seized.

Helms and Ray are each charged with Trafficking Meth 28-100 grams, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of the Prescription Drug Caruedilol without a Prescription, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arant and Powell are each charged with Possession of Meth and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Rollings is charged with Possession of Meth, Possession of the Prescription Drug Furosemide without a Prescription, Simple Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
