No More All Male Company Boards by 2020
Companies headquarters in California will soon not be able to have all male corporate boards. A new bill enacted Sunday requires all publicly traded firms in the state to have at least one woman on their board of directors by the end of 2019. If there are already five directors in a company… two women must be added by the end of 2021.
If companies doesn’t follow the new mandate, they’ll face a penalty.
