CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A lot of construction work is underway right now in Uptown Charlotte’s third and fourth wards. Moira Quinn with Charlotte Center City Partners says much more is on the way.
Skyhouse Uptown is a new 24 story luxury apartment building coming to the area.The Mint, which is a seven story luxury building near Romare Bearden Park, is also being built.
The new construction is aimed at Generation Y professionals who want to live near where they work and play.
The new Ballpark is also attracting more construction projects
