Β LOS ANGELES, CA — A new audio recording reportedly features Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling insisting that he is not racist. Β League Commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling for life last week, and began the process of forcing him to sell his team. Β

The fallout came after audio recordings surfaced last month of Sterling making racial comments to his mistress concerning her relationship with NBA legend Magic Johnson. Β The following recordings were released by Radar Online:

“You think I’m racist? Β You think I have anything in the world but love for everybody?”

“You don’t think that. Β You know I’m not a racist.”

“You can’t force someone to sell property in America.”

“I’m a lawyer. Β That’s my opinion.”

An attorney for Sterling’s wife, Shelly Sterling, says she wants to keep her 50 percent stake in the team if it is sold, and that she’s been talking to NBA officials.
