Dangers Of Toy Guns

A video used by Ohio police is educating kids and parents the danger of playing with fake guns. The video shows an encounter between a Columbus officer and two boys. The officer was called out to a gun run, but when he got to the scene, he discovered it was a 11 year old carrying a BB Gun.

The officer says the situation could have been deadly because the gun the kid was holding looked real. A report by the Washington Post showed that 86 people carrying fake or toy guns were killed by police in 2016 and 2015.

Should toy guns be banned?
