CHARLOTTE, NC — Police say the man accused of pulling a weapon on a woman and sexually assaulting her Thursday morning has been arrested.
40-year-old Tommy Williamson was arrested Friday morning, according to police. He is charged with two counts of 1st Degree Forcible Sex Offense, Assault on a Female, Attempted 1st Degree Forcible Rape, and First Degree Kidnapping.
The incident happened Thursday around 11:16am on Shamrock Drive. Police say the victim was sexually assaulted by Williamson.
According to reports, the victim was talking to Williamson inside the home when he pulled a weapon and sexually assaulted her. The victim told police Williamson took off after she managed to break free and called 911.
Williamson is currently being held on $21,000 bond.
