CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for assistance locating a man who cut off his Electronic Monitoring Device.
Demonta David Martin is wanted for Possession of Firearm by a Felon, Discharging Firearm into Occupied Property, Damage to Property, and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device. Martin was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release.

On October 19th, 2018, Martin cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of I 77 South, near Billy Graham Pkwy, Charlotte.
