TAYLORSVILLE, NC — The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Hickory man with multiple sex crimes involving a minor.
Tony Smith, 30, was arrested Monday. He is charged with nine counts of Statutory Sex Offense with a Child, eight counts of Indecent Liberties and one count of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
Smith is being held on a $1 million bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for October 29th.
