Lots Of People Think This Beer Thief Looks Like David Schwimmer
Actor David Schwimmer is trying to clear his name after a Ross Geller look-alike was caught on camera stealing beer in England.
Police in Blackpool, England shared a picture of the suspected thief on Facebook yesterday and asked: Do you recognize this man?
Lots of people immediately noticed the suspect’s striking resemblance to the character “Ross” from Friends.
Fans flooded the police department’s Facebook page with more than 119-thousand jokes and references to the sitcom..
Some even suggested it was Ross’s doppelganger,Β Russ.
Schwimmer got in on the fun after the post went viral.
He tweeted a video of himself sneaking through a grocery store carrying a bunch of beers.
Schwimmer wrote: ‘Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool police, good luck with the investigation.’
