Gastonia Man Charged With Breaking and Entering

LINCOLNTON, NC — A Gastonia man has been charged after police say he broke into a home and a vehicle in Stanley County.

On July 1st witnesses say they noticed someone near a residence on Rock Hollar Road.

When officers arrived they noticed the garage was forced open and a pressure washer was believed to be taken.

During the investigation, officers say they noticed a truck had been broken into at a nearby residence and tools had been removed.

Michael Adam Hodge, 41, was determined to be responsible for the break-ins.

Hodge was charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen property.
