Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Hit By School Bus In East Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian has serious injuries after being hit by a school bus in east Charlotte.  The accident happened just before 2:30pm on Central Avenue near Eastway Drive.

A spokesperson for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools says the bus was transporting students from Garinger High School.

No students on the bus were injured.  The victim was taken to CMC for treatment, according to MEDIC.  No other details have been released at this time.
