Catawba County Suspect Wanted In Connection To Multiple Armed Robberies

HICKORY, NC — Investigators with the Hickory Police Department and Catawba County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a suspect in connection to multiple armed robberies.

The crimes reportedly date back to September 4th and included robberies at several area businesses. In each crime, investigators say the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money from the store employee(s).

The suspect is described as a black male, slim build, between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing and dark colored shoes with white soles. Investigators say the suspect also covered his face with various items during each incident.

The crimes were committed at the following dates and locations:

  • September 4, 2018 at 9:37pm
    • Walgreens on Springs Road NE in Hickory
  • September 26, 2018 at 11:28pm
    • CVS Pharmacy on 2nd Street NE in Hickory
  • November 3, 2018 at 9:48pm
    • Dollar General on Riverbend Road in Conover
  • November 5, 2018 at 8:45pm
    • Dollar General on Lenoir Rhyne Boulevard SE in Hickory
