CORNELIUS, NC– On Saturday, authorities responded to a single vehicle crash on Bailey Road in Cornelius.
The driver identified as, Grant Geis, was traveling east on Bailey Road when he lost control and collided rearward with a large tree.
His passenger, Andres Morales, was transported to Novant Huntersville where he was pronounced deceased.
Mr. Geis was transported to CMC Main and remains in critical condition.
