EOTC: Beta Fish Denied Boarding Pass

CHARLOTTE, NC — A college student wanted to bring her pink beta fish on a flight from California to Denver last week, but Southwest told her no.

The woman says Southwest wouldn’t let her leave the fish on the counter for a friend to pick up in 30 minutes, so she had to hand her pet off to a stranger whose name she didn’t get.

She has no idea where the fish is now.
