NASCAR Couple Kyle and Samantha Busch Surprise Gastonia Delivery Nurse with IVF Grant
GASTONIA, NC–Earlier this week, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch and his wife Samantha spread some holiday cheer at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.
Joined by their closest family, friends and co-workers, Sharika and Gabriel Ramseur, were provided an early Christmas present when the racing couple and IVF advocates surprised them with an $18,000 grant from their Bundle of Joy Fund to assist in their efforts to bring a baby into this world.
Struggling for more than seven years, the Ramseur’s were told that there was an awards ceremony at the hospital. Little did they know the ceremony was in their honor and that they would be receiving such an incredible gift in front of Sharika’s fellow labor and delivery colleagues, who also rallied to raise nearly $4,000 toward their IVF expenses.
The Ramseurs are the 37th couple to receive financial assistance from Kyle and Samantha and the Bundle of Joy Fund, which since its inception has provided nearly $500,000 in grants to deserving couples struggling with infertility.
