Β One day after a bit of snow, sleet and freezing rain hit the Charlotte area, let’s take a step back and look at how the news covers the weather. Β You’ve seen the reporters doing their best to prove how icy and cold it is outside, kicking sleet-covered roads and turning hot water into snow.
Frankly, it becomes mind-numbingly difficult to come up with something new to say if there’s nothing new happening. Β Which is probably why one of theΒ otherΒ stations out there was promoting their coverage by saying, “It’s icy at the airport… how officials say the sun could help.” Β True story.
So what drives you crazy about the way news media covers winter weather?
