U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspect Wanted For Armed Robbery At Statesville Business
The Latest:
According to Statesville Police, U.S. Marshals in Charlotte have located and arrested 25-year-old Justin Jones in connection to an armed robbery that happened on January 7th.
Warrants were issued for Jones’ arrest on February 21st after investigators with the Statesville Police Department identified him as one of two suspects. Jones was then located on Tuesday, March 5th in Charlotte and taken into custody.
Police say he was also wanted on several outstanding warrants from Cabarrus and Gaston counties for obtaining property by false pretense.
Statesville PD has charged Jones with robbery with a dangerous weapon (2 counts), conspiracy to commit robbery and injury/damage to personal property.
Police are still trying to identify the second suspect wanted in connection to the case.

STATESVILLE, NC — Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed a downtown business at gunpoint Monday evening.
The robbery happened around 6:20pm at New York Styles on E. Broad Street. Police say two unidentified black males entered the store with a handgun and stole cash, jewelry and cell phones.
No one was injured in the crime.
