CHARLOTTE, N.C. –The Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Police Department is asking for assistance identifying a man wanted for two armed robberies from local businesses.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 11:25 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at Payless Shoe Source in the 3100 block of Eastway Drive.
According to an employee, the suspect entered the store and demanded money at gunpoint before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
On Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 2:11 p.m., the suspect entered the Game Stop located in the 4700 block of South Boulevard and brandished a gun before taking property and fleeing the business.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late twenties, wearing a black jacket and black pants.
