GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Highway Patrol has confirmed that one person had died after a crash on Philadelphia Church Road near Ratchford Road. Troopers say the accident happened around 3:43 p.m. When officials arrived on scene they found James Teague slumped over in his black pickup truck. The truck was found off the side of the road after crashing into a tree. Troopers are unsure of the cause of death at this time.Β
