‘Bacon Response Team’: CMPD’S Future Therapy Pigs

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD’s newest recruits are quite the hams.

Officer Chad Webster, who mentors children as part of CMPD’s community outreach program and his wife, Krista got the pigs almost a year ago. Since then, they’ve become part of their family.

Sergeant Serious Snuggles and Frank, make up CMPD’s Bacon Response Team.

They are being trained to become therapy pigs who will eventually help comfort crime victims.

Officer Webster and Krista stopped by Rising to show off their sweet babies and talk about what they hope to accomplish with the little guys.
