Pleasant Streak Stretches On

The pleasant weather streak continues today. Highs will reach the mid 70s across the Piedmont under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will only fall into the 50s – putting temps a good 20 degrees above average. Clouds fill back in tomorrow with a chance for a shower. A cold front will stall out and become stationary to our north. What does that mean for us? Warm temps, more clouds and a slight chance for a few showers through the end of the week. Record breaking temps possible on Thursday with highs in the upper 70s. This front will finally nudge out by the end of the week. Highs for our weekend will be more seasonable – low 50s with lows in the low 30s. Better rain chances also return by Sunday.
