Two Suspects Charged In East Charlotte Breaking And Entering Case
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have charged two men accused of breaking into an east Charlotte home Wednesday afternoon. Keith Samuels, 20, and Jaydon Turay, 16, have each been charged with Breaking and Entering, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Marijuana..
The crime happened around 1:18pm at a home on Wandering Creek Way. Police say the men broke in and stole several items.
Around 8:52am Thursday, CMPD says they assisted the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office with a stolen vehicle case after it was located on Haven Ridge Lane and the suspects, identified as Samuels and Turay, fled on foot.
CMPD K-9 units were able to locate the suspects and take them into custody. Police say they found stolen items from the break-in inside the stolen vehicle.
Turay is also charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Minor.
