CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two teens have been charged after a 15-year-old boy was shot in north Charlotte Friday night.
The shooting occurred at about 6:59 p.m., in the 5100 block of Regan Drive. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers located the 15-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound and Medic transported him to Atrium Healthcare.
CMPD officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the area of Greenland Avenue and Ashley Road, shortly thereafter.
Fredrick Dickson, 17, has been charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Felony Conspiracy.
A 14-year-old juvenile has been charged with Felony Conspiracy and transported to a juvenile detention facility.
