HICKORY, NC — The Hickory Police Department will be hosting a rabies clinic on Sunday, March 24th to help provide discounted vaccinations to area pet owners.
The clinic will be held in the east front parking lot at Police Headquarters located at 347 Second Avenue SW from 1pm to 4pm.
Officials say the clinic for cats and dogs will offer reduced cost rabies vaccinations for $10 per animal. Anyone who participated in last year’s clinic should bring their paperwork to see if their pet is eligible for the three-year vaccination for the same $10 fee.
Police ask that all dogs be on a leash and cats in crates upon arrival.
