
GASTONIA, N.C. — Flames ripped through a Gastonia home early Friday morning. Officials say the fire started in a garage that was converted into a living room.
The house is located at Pine Bard Court and Junius Street.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire which limited the fire damage to the garage area of the house.
However, other parts of the house were damage by smoke. The damage is estimated at $105,000.
There is no word on what caused the fire at this time.
