MINT HILL, N.C. — Police are working to gather more details after a man was shot in the parking lot of a Mint Hill shopping center. The shooting happened around 2:51 p.m. in the Idlewild Plaza parking lot on Margaret Wallace Road.
When authorities arrived on scene, witnesses say two males were involved in a fight and one of the men was shot. Officers say both people left the scene before they arrived. The man shot is being treated an a area hospital. Police say they are looking for the second person involved.
