Two Arrested On Multiple Drug And Weapons Charges

LENOIR, NC — Lenoir Police Department has charged two suspects after seizing numerous weapons and a large amount of drugs Wednesday morning.

Kenneth Taylor and Patricia Bare were both arrested following the search of a home on Whitnel Place around 5:41am. Investigators say they seized just over 100 grams of methamphetamine valued at nearly $15,500, a pistol, six long barreled firearms and roughly $1,110 in cash.

Taylor is charged with oneΒ count each of Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling for Controlled Substance, Felony Manufacture Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Bare is charged with one count each ofΒ Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a School, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle or Dwelling for Controlled Substance, and Felony Manufacture Schedule II Controlled Substance.

Lenoir Police say the arrests were part of a month long investigation, and more charges may be possible.
