Β There is probably a phobia for everything. Β It’s a little unusual, but a video on YouTube shows one woman freaking the freak out as tumbleweeds roll across the highway. Β Eventually her boyfriend comes to the rescue, but not until a minute and a half of pure internet video gold. Β Tumbleweeds might seem silly, but we all have some kind of irrational fear, right?
For instance, it can be pretty adorable when kids think their own shadow is a boogie man out to get them, but it’s also a real, albeit somewhat weird fear for adults, called “sciaphobia”. Β Lucky for you, it’s not all that common.
But the number one thing most people fear? Β Other people. Β Then it’s animals, heights, public places, and confined places, in order of worst to not-so-worse.
But none of those are quite as odd as the woman scared of tumbleweeds. Β That was like a Springer episode, where people are afraid of stuff like mustard or feathers. Β Which makes for a pretty interesting question for our Man on the Edge to ask…
