CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigation after two people walked into Medic Headquarters in west Charlotte suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officials with Medic say the building was immediately placed on lockdown and 911 operations continued without interruptions. Both people were taken to local hospitals with injuries.
Medic says the incident did not involve any Medic employees. Police say the initial investigation reveals that the shooting happened at the Queen City Motel on Wilkinson Boulevard, a short distance from Medic’s headquarters.
Police say the shooting appears to be accidental. No other details have been released at this time. Check back for updates.
