CHARLOTTE, NC — A man wanted for terrorizing a south Charlotte neighborhood is in jail Wednesday night. This is an update to a story first on WCCB News @ Ten Monday night.
Dajour Smith faces a number of charges, including multiple counts of breaking and entering. This is his seventh arrest in Mecklenburg County since February 2013. Smith is accused of breaking into houses in the Madison Park neighborhood on Monday. A CMPD crime map shows eight burglaries that day alone.
Investigators have not said if Smith is a suspect in several crimes reported in the neighborhood last Friday.
