Billy Ray Cyrus Joins Lil Nas X For Old Town Road Remix
CHARLOTTE, NCΒ — Billy Ray Cyrus is throwing his weight behind Lil Nas X’s song “Old Town Road” releasing a remix which features an added verse sung by Cyrus. The song was removed from the Billboard country charts last month, causing an uproar online over whether or not it was country or if race played a role in the decision.
Cyrus tweeted Wednesday, “when I got thrown off the charts, Waylon Jennings said to me “take this as a compliment” means you’re doing something great! Only outlaws are outlawed. Welcome to the club!”
