CHARLOTTE, NC — For many, Charlotte missionary Nancy Writebol became the face of the Ebola outbreak. She was the first American aid worker to contract the virus.
WCCB spoke one on one with her and her husband David Wednesday. She told WCCB News @ Ten anchor Will Kennedy she still wants to return to West Africa and continue her missionary work.
“Our doctors have not given me clearance yet. I asked the other day, ‘Can I go back to Africa?’ And they looked at me and said, ‘Well, it’s too soon,'” she said.
