CMPD Trying To Identify Suspects After Custom Car Stolen From S. Charlotte Business

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for assistance locating a suspect responsible for a car theft in south Charlotte.

On Thursday, April 25th, 2019, the CMPD says a suspect cut the lock off of a fence at Creative Customs on South Boulevard and stole a trailer with a customized 1975 Chevy Caprice inside.  The rear of the trailer is equipped with red skid prevention wheels, according to authorities.

The suspect vehicle is a white Chevrolet single cab truck with stickers in the top right and top left of the back window.  The vehicle is damaged on the right front fender, right bed rail, and has black rims.

The suspect was dressed in all black with face covered and wearing gloves.
