28-year-old Robbie Tripp aka “Curvy wife guy” became internet famous after an Instagram post in 2017 professing his love for his plus-size wife. The caption detailed his attraction to women on the quote “thicker side.” Supporters say Tripp was trying to spread a positive message.

Critics ridiculed him for his seemingly self-congratulatory tone and mocked that he seemed to want praise for loving his wife. On Friday, Tripp released a song called “Chubby Sexy.” There’s also an accompanying music video. It features his curvy wife. who’s a popular Instagram blogger, Sarah, and several other curvy women poolside in bathing suits.
