CHARLOTTE, NC – John Barnett, with True Healing Under God, says he will organize another court watch as opening statements get underway in the Wes Kerrick trial.
“You know, we pay taxes on the courthouse. It’s open to the public. So we’re just encouraging and exercising our privileges to go in and attend court,” Barnett says.
After almost two weeks of jury selection, WCCB Charlotte legal contributor John Snyder says attorneys on both sides are ready to begin.
“This is their time before the world, right? So they’re gonna bring their ‘A game,'” Snyder says.
He expects more people will focus their attention on the trial as testimony begins.
