ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — I-85 South in Rowan County is backed up for several miles following an accident in a long-term construction zone near mile marker 63.
The NCDOT says the serious accident occurred at about 6:09 a.m. and crews are working to clear the scene. At least one lane is blocked
