CHARLOTTE, N.C.- You can catch this week’s Waiting Child singing all the time. Β She’s an animal lover who likes to draw and read. Β She’s looking for a family to love her and take her to the beach.Β
Amanda loves to sing. Β She says it’s her passion, especially singing country music. Β Carrie Underwood is her idol. Β She wants to sing her way to the top just like her. Β Amanda has other career options in mind as well, “I want to be a teacher artist or singer.”

Amanda is 14 years old and very creative. Β She likes to draw, color and dance. Β She also enjoys fashion.

When it comes to school her favorite subjects are language arts and science, “I like to read charts and I like to learn about weather.” Β The summer months are her favorite time of year so she can visit the beach. Β Amanda says she’s looking for a family who will go swimming with her, sing songs and draw with her. Β Her dream is to find a forever family.

If her new family happens to have pets she says it’s okay since she loves animals, especially monkeys, they’re her favorite. “As long as its not snakes and spiders.”
