Blues and Jazz Festival

The Arts Council of York County‘s Blues and Jazz Festival, celebrates its 10th year, by kicking things off in Fort Mill‘s Baxter Village on Thursday, October 2, 2014. The festival continues with a restaurant crawl in Old Town Rock Hill on Friday, October 3. Eight of Old Town Rock Hill‘s restaurants, pubs and other venues open their doors to blues and jazz musicians, some who have played the festival in years past, and others who are new to the Blues & Jazz Festival‘s scene. Bring the kids to the Community Performance Center, 249 East Main Street, Rock Hill, SC, for an afternoon show that explores puppetry music of the early 20th century on Saturday, October 3, 2014. Things wrap up on Saturday evening with a concert by blues guitarist, Scott Ainslie.
