Three People Arrested After Teen Shot And Killed At East Charlotte Apartment Complex
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD says they arrested three people for the shooting death of a teen at an east Charlotte apartment complex.
Cortez Springs, 19, Keniya Guyton, 17, and Tionte Morrison, 18, have been charged with murder and three counts of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25th, on Barrington Drive, near the intersection of Milton Road.
Police say officers found 17-year-old Octavian McClellan with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Medic took McClellan to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim, with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, arrived at the hospital shortly thereafter. Police are investigating the relationship between the victims.
