YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Three people died after a driver crossed the center line and struck another vehicle in York County Saturday night.
The accident happened on McConnells Highway when officials say a vehicle being driven by 29-year-old Wesley Kyle Blain, of Blacksburg, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle driven by 15-year-old Ashton Dickey of Tega Cay.
Kyle Blain was pronounced dead at the scene.
The front seat passenger in the vehicle with Dickey, 16-year-old Amara Stagg, of McConnells, also died at the scene.
Ashton Dickey was airlifted to a Charlotte hospital, where she died later.
The accident is still under investigation.
